Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President (VP) of Corporate Communications, the Marketing & Communications Manager will  be responsible for executing advertising, public relations,  communication and social media activities  to support TruFund’s communications processes.   This individual will be responsible for the hands-on management of  a variety of integrated communications products and services including: newsletters and other print publications; web, social-media, branding, e-news and other online communications; media and public relations; community events and marketing.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Creating and publishing original, high quality content on social platforms
  • Managing all company social media accounts to ensure up-to-date content
  • Designing social media strategies to achieve marketing targets
  • Develop and enhance the TruFund’s online presence by creating content that is ranked highly by search engines. Content must contain appropriate keywords pertaining to the product and/or service
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure a cohesive brand
  • Monitor and track utilization, performance, and traffic analytics to optimize keywords and other search engine efforts
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Regular website maintenance and website content updates
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI
  • Expertise in website design and development (Wix and/or WordPress experience preferred)

Education and Related Work Experience:

  • An undergraduate degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 4+ years experience in content writing, digital and media relations
  • Experience with Google Ad Words, Facebook & Instagram Ad Campaigns, & Linked In Ad Campaigns preferred
  • Demonstrable knowledge of various social media strategies to enhance ROI
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Basic design skills for print materials and other information brochures
  • Experience with Hootsuite, and or other social media management platforms
  • Knowledge and experience with Google Analytics; certification is a plus
  • Search engine optimization, social media marketing, search engine marketing, web marketing, email marketing experience preferred
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Excellent multitasking skills, prioritization and deadline management
  • Must be team-oriented
