“TruFund helped bring LIFE back into my team. They are excited and proud to work for SARCOR. The team has renewed faith in the process and in our success. They know that I, as the owner, am giving my all to provide the resources they need to perform their job.”
— Selena Rodgers-Dickerson,

SARCOR, LLC (SARCOR), established in 2008 provides engineering and project management services. Sarcor also provides a full range of engineering design services, planning, and construction management solutions to local, state, and federal government clients and utility companies throughout the Southeast. The business was established when Selena Rodgers-Dickerson left her employer and decided to start her own business. Sarcor, LLC is a woman-owned Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) /Disadvantaged Business (DBE)/Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB).

Rodgers-Dickerson transitioned to a business incubator hoping to use it as a platform to continue to grow her business and other small businesses. She realized in early 2015 she needed to move into her own facility if she was going to develop the capacity to expand.

She approached TruFund seeking the financial support her business needed to respond to a period of rapid growth by hiring staff and obtaining the equipment and software she needed to serve their client’s needs internally.

Due to TruFund’s support, since 2015, SARCOR has been able to respond quickly to new project awards and has seen significant revenue increases from year to year. Through TruFund’s involvement, SARCOR was able to create eight and retain five jobs over a 24-month period.
