TruFund Financial Services, Inc. Launches the Women in Business: An EmpowHERment Program in Louisiana with Invitational Brunch on August 19  

August 18, 2017 - NEW ORLEANS - TruFund Financial Services, Inc. has partnered with Regions Bank to host an invitational brunch on Saturday, August 19, 2017, to kick off the Women in Business: An EmpowHERment Program. The national program is specifically tailored to female entrepreneurs in each of TruFund’s three markets (Louisiana, Alabama and New York) who want to learn innovative and cutting-edge ways to grow and further develop their businesses.

The EmpowHERment invitational brunch will take place at Café Reconcile in New Orleans from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. Participating women business owners will have the opportunity to hear more about the training program and fill out an application to be selected to participate. To register, click here.

With more than 9 million women-owned businesses nationwide, American women are steadily stepping up and taking the lead in business ownership. In 2016, a study showed that women-owned businesses were growing at a rate 1.5 times faster than the national average with the state of Louisiana ranking #7 for women entrepreneurs.

TruFund’s Women in Business Program will conclude with the EmpowHERment Summit luncheon on Thursday, October 26, 2017, where participants will be presented with awards and hear from keynote speaker Sable Badaki of SheWorks, Inc. Tickets for this event will be available and open to the public.
